I was born and raised in the Dominican Republic and moved to NYC in 2014 to study psychology. During this time, I lived with my grandmother. Growing up in a dysfunctional family, I was always anxious but didn’t even realize it until I was about 17. Still, I pushed through, thinking that because I had a psychology background, I had it all figured out. I believed I didn't need therapy—I was fine. I was just young and arrogant, trying to control everything while ignoring my own issues. I dismissed any suggestion to look inward or to examine my history, beliefs, or behaviors. I thought, “I’m a psychology student; I should have it all together, right?” Ha! The arrogance of youth, rooted in fear and insecurity!
I graduated from Queens College in 2019 and started to realize that maybe I didn’t have everything as under control as I thought. I had no idea what I wanted to do next, other than knowing I didn’t want to go back to school for a master’s degree. A friend helped me get a job as a paraprofessional with the NYC Department of Education, and for a while, I convinced myself I loved working with kids. I even considered becoming a teacher or an occupational therapist. But after COVID, when life started to get back to normal, I returned to the job and had a harsh realization: I had been living on autopilot. I actually didn’t like my job at all. Cue the guilt—I had no “good” reason to dislike it. The pay was decent, the hours and benefits were great, and my coworkers and students were fine. I used to think, "How dare you not like your job? So many people have it worse." But the anxiety attacks, overthinking, and sleepless nights only got worse.
Around this time, I met my now-best friend through my partner. She had recently attended a sound bath and recommended me to go, saying, “I went back to my childhood—you would really enjoy it.” She knew I had a hard time remembering some parts of my childhood. My partner had mentioned sound healing and meditation before, but I always brushed it off—I wasn't ready to face myself. But eventually, I took a leap of faith and went to my first Reiki and sound healing session. It was...horrible! I was filled with anxiety and fear, wondering, "Am I doing this right?" I had never meditated in my life.
The instructor, who I like to refer as my "Spiritual Godmother," gave me some tips. I was so tired of my own BS that I decided to try again. That second sound bath? It brought me back to my childhood. I remembered so many things I had forgotten. After that, I was hooked. I started attending sound baths twice a month. It wasn’t all smooth sailing—I still had anxiety attacks with certain sounds (hello, gong, I love you now, but we’ve had our moments!). But gradually, my anxiety lessened, my sleep improved, and my thoughts became clearer.
I began to feel and recognize my emotions more clearly, which led me to start therapy. Combining therapy with sound healing, Reiki, and breathwork completely changed my life! I knew I wanted to learn these modalities to help others on their healing journeys. Sound and Reiki have helped me grow as a person, appreciate life, and embrace all parts of myself—the light, fun parts and the dark, challenging ones—with love and compassion. I've met incredible teachers and people along the way and have healed and strengthened many past relationships.
Now, I’m passionate about guiding others through their own healing, helping them reconnect with themselves, and holding space for their unique journeys.

Once you schedule your session, I will send you an email with detailed payment information. Follow the instructions provided in the email to submit your deposit securely.
A sound bath is a meditative experience where you are immersed in sound waves produced by instruments like singing bowls, gongs, and chimes. These sounds help promote relaxation, reduce stress, and create a sense of balance.
Reiki is an ancient Japanese healing practice that means "universal life energy." I practice Usui Reiki, which originated in Japan in the early 1900s with Dr. Mikao Usui. Think of it as a gentle, hands-on (or off!) technique that helps balance your energy, relax your mind, and promote overall well-being. It’s like giving your spirit a warm, calming hug!
Nope! This is totally beginner-friendly. Just come as you are, and I’ll guide you through the experience. Wear comfy clothes—think yoga pants or anything you can lounge in. If we’re at a studio or your home, I recommend a yoga mat and blanket for extra coziness.
All services include an extra 15-30 minute gap, depending on the session type. This additional time allows space for questions, sharing insights, and integrating the experience after the session.
Easy! Choose any session (like the Reiki and Sound Refresh) and simply note that you'd like it at your place. Please keep in mind that an extra fee may apply depending on the distance, but I’ll make sure it's worth the journey!
Studio services are the same as those offered at my location, but they are conducted at a studio instead. These sessions will be held at a Ripley Grier location of your choice, with multiple convenient locations across the city.
Deposits are non-refundable, as I dedicate my time to you and your healing journey. If you need to reschedule, just let me know at least 24 hours in advance, and we can move your session to any time within the next 6 months. After all, this is about prioritizing your well-being!
I’m not a doctor, so I can’t diagnose or treat medical conditions. If you have any health concerns, please follow your doctor's advice. Also, if you have a pacemaker, this isn't the best fit for you—energy work and the use of certain instruments can sometimes interfere with the device.
Not quite yet, but I’m getting there! I’m currently pursuing my master's in mental health counseling. Think of me as your “Holistic Healing Guide” on the way to becoming a licensed therapist. I’m certified in both Reiki and Sound Healing, so you’re in safe, caring hands.
YESSS! I love bringing the magic of Reiki and sound healing to groups, whether it's for team-building, special events, or just a fun way to de-stress together. Please send us an email for more information.
